Of course, you’ll need 24.5 volunteer hours to get there, but here’s a great volunteer opportunity that will fulfill some hours.
Help us with the 2010 Burke Gilman and Sammamish River Trail Survey! This survey happens every five years and provides valuable data to support advocacy for new trails and bike facilities around the region.
Volunteers will be counting bicyclists and pedestrians at 7 different locations along the trails, and we need your help to fill volunteer shifts between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday May 22 and between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25. If you’re available on either or both of these days, let us know. We have over 100 shifts to fill! Fill in your availability here.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, my husband and I missed out on the STP registration this year. Just wondering if you have any other volunteer opportunities. We live in Idaho close to the Oregon border (25 miles from Ontario). We are willing to travel a little to fulfill an opportunity. We are trying to get our fifth consecutive STP ride, we have done one almost every year of our marriage (we didn’t know about it the first two years). Also willing to volunteer during the STP as long as we get to ride our bikes.
We have loads of volunteer opportunities! http://cascade.org/About/Volunteer.cfm
Contact Diana Larson, volunteer coordinator, to find out if there are still ways for you to earn an STP bib.
