I hope I’m wrong. btw: Group Health is the only business in Bremerton/Kitsap County who refused to allow a flyer announcing the 1st major COPD Seattle public event in Washington state by the non-profit, American Lung Association of Washington. Particularly the sectons relating to nomination of Board candidates and the selection of the nominating committee members and who may be on the committee. See Article XIII, Section 2. Some interesting things are also left unsaid in the recent amendments such as how many Board candidates are nominated compared to the number of Board positions available, as well as the Board's ability to control the size of the Board of Directors. All very interesting. I encourage all of you to read those sections carefully, especially the recent amendments. Well, well, reading the new amended by-laws was very interesting. This summer there should have been an all membership notice that nomination suggestions would be considered by the board ... this was not done. Also the membership must be allowed to suggest members for the one year people on the board (before they are allowed on the 2011 slate). The board picks them too!!! What is the difference whether I fill in the box for only Don but not Chris, both of them, or neither of them? Are they running against each other? How come there is no "Yes" or "No" box?
