Cascade Bicycle Club is pleased to announce the election of its new board members. After a count of over 700 ballots and certification of the election, we congratulate the following nine members who have been elected to serve three year board terms: Bill Ptacek, Daniel Weise, Don Volta, Emily Moran, George Durham, Kevin Carrabine, Michael Snyder, Ron Sher and Tarrell Wright. The new board will be officially seated at a board orientation on April 29.
We also want to thank all twenty-five members who came forward to place themselves into consideration for the Club’s board and the fourteen who ultimately stood for election. Finally, we want to thank all our members for their interest in the Club and particularly the more than 700 who voted in this election. We are extremely excited about moving the Club forward and believe that those elected will be great leaders to carry us into the future.

Might we see more detailed information on the election results? How many members voted? What were the vote tallies for all candidates?
Where are the answers to Tom Schaefer’s questions from April 7th. Or, is the objective here to only provide answers to our replies here in a private email?
It looks to me like we have a great slate of board members, with none of the former members remaining.
Ok, it is now time to see more and better information in regard to the Board and its work. The idea is to make the Board more transparent to Cascade membership, right?
If there is a link on this web site to Board work and activities, I did not find it. Is there a place where members can learn of scheduled Board meetings?, of Board minutes?, or of other Board activities or agenda items? Some of us would like to keep a tab on our Board. How do we do that?
So, what happened at the Board Orientation on April 29th?
