RFP: Web strategy

October 11th, 2011 by

With thousands of people throughout the greater Puget Sound region who are passionate about creating a better community through cycling, we know you’re out there. We’re looking for the right firm (or the right team or the right individual) to help us update and forge ahead with a strategy for developing our next website.

We’re looking for someone who has a clear understanding of who we are and what we do. In many ways, we’re not a typical nonprofit. We’re a 501(c)4 membership organization with an associated 501(c)3 and a PAC. We encourage people to use bikes to get around for transportation, fitness and fun. We teach kids to ride bikes safely. We are established on the political landscape. We host club rides every day, and produce some of the largest bike events around. We help develop the policies that will lead to a better bicycling experience for everyone who wants to get around on two wheels. And, we’re one of the largest organizations of our kind in the country.

Yes, our website is out of date. It’s holding us back, and we know it. We’re ready (and have been ready) to take it to a new level. In a dynamic organization involved throughout the community on so many levels with an engaged constituency, we’ve got no shortage of ideas. But a great end-product needs more than a pile of amazing ideas… to be successful, our next website need a great plan with a thoughtful strategy behind it.

That’s where you come in.

If you’re familiar with who we are, love our mission and work, have the proven skills to guide us through this process and are excited to help us shine, here’s the RFP. Questions? Get in touch any time.
