The challenges are enormous and only through persistence, presentation of the evidence in support of these legislative priorities, and sheer voter power and numbers will we get moving in the right direction. Cascade has a very important role to play in working with other transportation and public health groups to promote the benefits of bicycling for health, transportation, carbon reduction, and overall well-being.
