		<description>The bridge outside Franklin High is not ADA compliant, and you wouldn&#039;t be allowed to build one that steep today. The West Thomas St Bridge under construction on the west side of Lower Queen Anne is about $10 million, and that&#039;s probably a comparable length to what you&#039;d need here, with the necessary gently slope. 

New bridges are expensive. That&#039;s probably why we&#039;re putting runnels on this old one.</description>

		<description>Fantastic! However, how much more would it cost to make a wheelchair/bike accessible bridge? Perhaps even a steep one like the one down by Franklin High crossing Rainier Ave or 132nd south crossing 599?  Still, I applaud the changes.</description>
