In Greenwood, there are many of us who do not think that Greenways are a good thing. If you are really interested in helping people take back the streets, put in some sidewalks.

In NE Seattle we would just like to have sidewalks. Just a fews block from Olympic Hills Elementary School there are no sidewalks. Kids are walking in the streets even when its dark because there really is nowhere else to walk.

I think greenways are great in so many ways. One is that it helps people take back their streets. Real community building. Would be great to know more about that human powered vehicle shown in the photo. The photographer is credited but not the inventor, and builder of the thing. That's a re-purposed truck chassis and transmission. It's the work of Haulin' Colin. He's well-known for his cargo trailers.
