Mazel tov, Sydney, you are an inspiration. I am well aware of your advocacy for bike riders and bike trails. Moreover, as one who lives and works in DT Seattle, I share your concern about an element of the bike riding community that is intolerably rude and a danger to pedestrians.

Sydney is not only a bike rider, he is a walking, cycling, history. He can tell stories of his experiences to fill many books, like his volunteering on a clandestine refugee ship (on which I was a baby passanger) carrying Holocaust survivers to Palestine. May he enjoy cycling for many more years.

Sydney- such a great cycling and LIFE lesson: Even if you have to walk a hill or two, you can still have a nice ride.’ You're awesome!
I also really appreciate the concluding author note. We all can benefit by remembering "the golden rule" and treating others as we wish to be treated.
