The uphill slog for 25 miles wears you down little bit by little bit, that's for sure! Nice trail though. We had a few guys go through there on July 1 on road bikes; anything bigger than 700x28's did well, 700x32's were doing exceptionally well, and the guys on Cyclocross bikes seemed to have the easiest time. Tweed's Cafe is close to the start point and has some pretty tasty food. Also featured in the movie Twin Peaks and has some... interesting reading material.
