The Bicycle Ambassadors are finishing off August full-force! Here’s where you can find them this weekend and early next week:
Saturday, Aug. 25: Seattle Parks Big Day of Play
Magnuson Park, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We’ll be selling our signature $15 helmets at this all-day event, located conveniently close to the CBC offices!
Saturday, Aug. 25: New Holly Family Fun Fest and Health Fair
New Holly Campus (7058 32nd Ave S), 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 25: Bike-in
Cal Anderson Park, 5 p.m.
This exciting (and free!) event includes live music, outdoor movies, and lots of local bike organizations (including Cascade, Bike Works, and Hub and Bespoke!)
Sunday, Aug. 26: Bicycle Sunday
Seward Park, 1 p.m to 4 p.m.
It’s one of our last Bike Sunday helmet sales of the year, so don’t miss your chance to ride Lake Washington Blvd without the car traffic and pick up a low-cost helmet while you’re at it!
Tuesday, Aug. 28: UW Energizer Station, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
We’ll be out seeking out tires in need of air, and passing out maps and trail safety tips while we pump!
Wednesday, Aug. 29: Sammamish Farmer’s Market
Sammamish Commons, 3 to 7 p.m.
The highlight of the week comes from last Friday’s Rainier Summer Streets Celebration. Ambassador Stevie writes:
“We had a beautiful day for the last of the summer street series. About 20 of us decorated bikes and paraded down the street with marching bands, dancers, and local business owners.”
