This is my second year dealing with the Clif 2-mile challenge site. At least I've been able to log some of my rides this year. Although improved for 2012, the 2-mile challenge web site is way too busy with things having nothing to do with logging rides or miles. And there seems to be no way to log rides with dates other than the current date. I'm reasonably web-savvy, but the 2-mile challenge site is almost too much effort to bother with. And since I'm not an iPhone user, I can't comment on whether or not their phone app is any better than the web site. A Droid version might be nice.
As models of good systems, the Commute Challenge (2012) and the National Bike Challenge (2012) websites were excellent.
