As the sun sets earlier and earlier, more and more of us will be bicycling after dark. Besides a helmet, a good set of lights is your best friend when you’re riding. Cascade hosted a light giveaway near the Missing Link of the Burke-Gilman Trail in Ballard last week, and the response was great.
There will be more light giveaways to come, so watch out for our Bike Ambassadors while you’re cycling around. We’re not looking to outfit people who already have lights, but to brighten those riding without.
Remember, lights are a crucial part of a night (and dusk) rider’s bike. In addition to visibility, all-weather-riders will want to consider a host of other options for staying safe and dry in the coming months.
