Are all of those on your list? Then we’ve got a four-in-one deal for you: Hop on your bike! A bike ride can save on gas, burn calories, improve cardiovascular strength and make you happy. And studies show that those who incorporate exercise into their stop-smoking plans are the ones more likely to succeed.
So what are you waiting for? Start out right on January 1st with a steady-paced (12-14 mph) ride through Interlaken, South Lake Union, Myrtle Edwards Park, Discovery Park and the Fisherman’s Terminal. This 20-ish-mile ride will start at Gas Works Park at 10:00 a.m. Your leaders, Les Weppler and Travis Coleman, will keep the group together and encourage you up the hills and help meet your goals.

1. motorcycle: are you including gas, insurance, parking and all of the other incidentals?
2. bicycle: are you including just maintenance and repairs, or also purchase and/or “upgrade”/improvement costs?
3. at least you had the income to afford those bicycle expenses.
