Not only is Cascade engaged with family bikers, the club is working to further support those who share their love of cycling with their family. We are partnering with Bike Works as we develop classes and organized rides for families. Ambassadors represent Cascade at a number of family events throughout the year, including school science nights and YMCA Days. Our discounted and free helmet program helps keep noggins safe throughout Seattle and our advocacy work makes sure that there are safe places to bicycle with your family: on trails, quiet streets or separated bicycle facilities like cycle tracks.

Do you want to make a positive impact on your community or have you spread your love of bicycling to your family? Are you full of great ideas on how Cascade can better serve families? Let others in on your tricks for what to do when the kids are losing interest and you’ve run out of snacks! Promoting family bicycling, in addition to many other issues, is the work of the Ambassador team. If you are interested in informing others about the trials and tribulations of bicycling with your children, (either on your bike or their own), the Cascade Bicycle Ambassador job is the one for you.
