Cascade Bicycle Club is pleased to announce the election of its new board members. After a count of over 700 ballots and certification of the election, we congratulate the following nine members who have been elected to serve three year board terms: Bill Ptacek, Daniel Weise, Don Volta, Emily Moran, George Durham, Kevin Carrabine, Michael Snyder, Ron Sher and Tarrell Wright. The new board will be officially seated at a board orientation on April 29.

We also want to thank all twenty-five members who came forward to place themselves into consideration for the Club’s board and the fourteen who ultimately stood for election. Finally, we want to thank all our members for their interest in the Club and particularly the more than 700 who voted in this election. We are extremely excited about moving the Club forward and believe that those elected will be great leaders to carry us into the future.

Dear members,

I’m very sorry about the problems we encountered during yesterday’s registration process and for the frustration it caused you, our members. Yesterday’s level of service fell well below our customer service standards. We value your support and membership very highly, and do not take the situation lightly.

While we carefully diagnose the problems,  our immediate next step is to come up with a plan to rectify the situation as best we can for all those who tried to register for RSVP but couldn’t. Because RSVP is a “limited” rider event and is currently sold out, our team is already investigating a number of options. You can expect a follow-up announcement from us by next week, hopefully sooner.

However, with this said, we will certainly correct the system for next year.
